Before sending a worker into a confined space, you must:

Develop a confined space hazard assessment, to meet WorkSafeBC OHS regulation 9.9 compliancy.

Develop a written procedure, specifying means of hazard elimination, to meet WorkSafeBC OHS regulation 9.10 compliancy.

Have a qualified person develop your hazard assessment and written procedure, to meet WorkSafeBC OHS regulation 9.11.

Canada Rescue Techs Inc. will provide you with this service, to ensure your compliancy and minimize risk to your workers.

Our assessment personnel have and experience with all types of confined spaces, from the forepeak of a Navy destroyer, to an IDLH sulfur dioxide storage tank, and just about everything in between. They are experts in fire/rescue, hazmat, ventilation and fall arrest, so they will identify all your hazards and determine the best course to eliminate or minimize them. The are also experts in confined space rescue, as they are members of our rescue standby team, so they can consult with you on your confined space permit and equipment needs.
